Lifeguards

* A certified lifeguard will be on duty weather permitting during Pool Hours.

* Active members can swim before or after lifeguard hours, 8am-11pm, daily.

* You must be 18 years old to swim without an adult without a lifeguard on duty.

* Toward the end of the season and after Johnson City Schools are back in session, lifeguard hours will vary . 

* Anytime a lifeguard is not present it is “swim at your own risk” and no one under 18 is allowed to swim without adult supervision.

* Children between the ages of 15-17 can swim without a parent or guardian present ONLY when a lifeguard is on duty.

* Children between the ages of 10-14 will be able to swim without a parent or guardian present ONLY when a lifeguard is on duty AND if the parent or guardian has signed a waiver allowing the child to swim AND if the child can pass a swim test administered by a Martindale lifeguard.
