Pool Party Options

    #1 - During Lifeguard Hours, Monday - Saturday

         Members may use the grounds for small functions (up to nine guests) during daytime lifeguard hours.  This option is         offered for small functions that will be held during the day with a cost of $4.00 for each non-member guest (paid to               the lifeguard upon arrival).  These parties should be coordinated through the Pool Party Coordinator to insure that                 additional lifeguards will not be needed.  Parties held during these hours do not hold exclusive rights to any pool                 facilities.

    #2 - After Lifeguard Hours, Monday - Saturday

         Members may schedule for larger functions with 10 or more guests.  This allows for exclusive use of the clubhouse          and picnic area; however, the pool is still open to other members.  The cost for this type of function is $30.00. A Martindale lifeguard must be on site throughout the entire function.  It is the renter’s responsibility to mail payment for the full amount along with the completed Pool Party Agreement to MRA PO Box within 72 hours of scheduling the party.  Two lifeguards need to be hired for any parties with the expectation of 25 or more guests.  If attempts are made and no Martindale lifeguard is available, you may be given permission by the Board of Directors to hire another lifeguard after a copy of current lifeguard certification is reviewed.

Reservation Info and Conditions

PLEASE REVIEW: If Pool Party Guidelines are broken, the Board of Directors will  immediately end the party and membership privileges will be reviewed.

• Payment for reservations should be made to Martindale Recreation Association (please include the date of your function in the memo area of your check). 

• Mail your check with your signed Pool Party Guideline Agreement to: 

• Martindale Recreation Association, PO Box 523, Mountain Home, TN  37684

• Reservations are not final until guidelines agreement is signed and payment is received.  If someone else requests the same date and your payment has not been received, you could lose your reservation.

• After hours functions may be held anytime Monday - Saturday, 6:00pm until 10:00pm. NO PARTIES ON SUNDAYS.

• Payment to the lifeguard is the responsibility of the renter and must be paid in full on the night of the party for all hours worked.

• Clean up is the responsibility of the renter.

• Observe all safety rules in the pool and on the pool deck and all safety and cleaning guidelines if using the gas grill.

• Reservations will start being accepted the Monday following opening workday unless you participate in the opening work day.   Participants of workday receive one free pool party and are allowed to book the party on that day.

• No parties will be held on Sundays or the night before or the day of the July 4th celebration.

• No alcoholic beverages, tobacco products or animals are allowed on the pool property.
